Cyber Ransomware typically spreads via spam, phishing emails, websites, system vulnerabilities or downloads which infects your corporate networks.
Typically, ransomware locks files and databases it can access using strong encryption to demand a ransom (typically payable in Bitcoin) to decrypt the files and restore full operations to the affected critical IT systems.

2. Make frequent, comprehensive backups of all important files and isolate them from your local network.
